A part-ram restaurant chef struggles to discern his passions from demise when tasked with preparing lamb chops.

Artist Statement

As a creative, Katie has always been passionate about what emotions her stories evoke. What she considers a success is if her audience feels for her characters and leaves you thinking about what could or shouldn’t have transpired. The themes regarding the main character’s journey were something Katie felt fitting of the worry many of us may have regarding our futures. The idea of having your passions eventually lead to your demise; ”eat you up” if you will. By incorporating motifs of cannibalism, she felt it was good a way to portray both the main character’s literal and emotional fears.
