Artist Statement
Our short film Murmur is a 3D-Animated dance video that responds to a feeling of constant dissatisfaction in everyday life. With influences like Lost in Translation and Dirty Dancing, we were inspired by vintage music video style’s to display an inner battle between self-image, and the desire for change. These nostalgic visuals serve to reinforce the tension between wishful thinking and an uncomfortable present.
