ARTIST STATEMENT

I made this film because I don’t like walking away from topics that are considered hurtful or offensive, if it means what’s true is being shown and taught. The hands of their own members have accidentally caused many military deaths, but even more have been claimed by suicide, trauma eating away at them.

I may not have any military experience, but I have relatives who have served, I have heard their stories, and this film is a dedication to those who have served, and a message to all that, as Bertrand Russell put it, “War does not determine who is right, only who is left.”
