Min’s Robot
Charmaine Mah

Min is a rambunctious and inventive girl who disregards the feelings of others when she is up to her inventive shenanigans.
In an attempt to befriend someone who understands her, Min builds a robot that acts just like her.
However, when the robot mirrors her self-centred habits, she finally realizes how she has hurt the children in her neighbourhood.

In my last semester, my goal was to create a children’s book dummy based on a concept that I started a year prior.
I wanted to create a character like Min to show children that it is never too late to consider others, learn from your mistakes, take accountability, and become a better person.
I brought my project to the book dummy phase in the hopes that it may be published in the future. Below are the pages that were brought to completion.
