Abigail Raine Balisky

Abigail Raine is an artist by birth and by trade. Her work dances with themes of the Holy, relationality, ephemera, nostalgia, and the silent moments between these things. Born and raised on Commercial Drive, she paints, collects, assembles, writes and dances on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
