How to Translate is a love letter for the connections made in a semester abroad, where the hardships of friendship doubled through the miscommunication of different languages and cultural practices.
Taking the usage of communication outside of verbal language, the film follows a universal struggle; how long can one last in hunger before they snap? What if warning others of your own danger is impossible?
