Synopsis
We follow a hungry wolf as it hunts day and night. When it spots a fantastical deer, the wolf becomes obsessed and follows the magical creature’s path through the forest.

Artist Statement
Animals’ natural behaviour has always been a topic I enjoy observing. It’s hard for humans to fully know how animals react in their natural state, as human intervention is forever intertwined within their environments. I am interested in how animals would behave without human impact, and how different their worlds would be without us. With this project, I present these animals, who have evolved beyond human intervention and can express their love and personalities freely, without the world around them affecting them. I demonstrate how love can show us how similar we are to these beings and their behaviors.

About The Filmmaker
Christina Hunyadi is a Hungarian-Canadian 3D Modeler based on the ancestral and unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. She has always taken an interest in films and animations that convey profound, impactful messages, which she strives to draw inspiration from in her work. She studies 3D Animation at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, with a focus on wildlife and how animals live within our ecosystem, and capturing the unique personalities and likeness of animals is a goal she forever upholds.
