As public systems become increasingly digital, many elderly users are left behind. Rapid technological growth often overlooks their needs: systems that are complex, unfamiliar, and difficult to navigate.
This issue becomes especially evident in public transportation, where simple tasks such as finding routes or navigating between destinations can quickly become overwhelming.

Patho is designed as a complete product system, combining a handheld device with a carefully considered packaging experience. The device features a minimal interface, tactile controls, and a calm visual language to reduce cognitive load. The brand identity uses a muted navy tone for stability, complemented by soft accent colors to maintain warmth and approachability. From packaging to interaction, every element is designed to feel intuitive, accessible, and ready for everyday use.
Patho’s UI was designed to improve accessibility for elderly users through clear color contrast without relying on harsh or visually overwhelming tones. The slightly muted and softened colors reduce eye strain while maintaining clarity between sections. Compared to the complexity of smartphones, the interface focuses on simple and purposeful functions that are easy to navigate. By linking buttons with corresponding colors, the design emphasizes intuitive interaction and usability.
