See it On Campus: Level 2

ALL HANDS ON DIRT is an invitation for kids to engage with learning, exploration, and risky play in nature through the lens of trail stewardship and trail building.

With tool affordances (scale, aesthetic, human factors) designed specifically to include children in all aspects of assembley and trail building, we can prompt exploration and education of local forests and promote a relationship of reciprosity between trail users and builders.

Working collaboratively with the NSMBA’s youth trail building program we designed, developed, and tested potential and final designs through a serious of trail and tool building workshops.
