Jocelyn Kee

Jocelyn Kee is a painter and printmaker who draws upon her Chinese Canadian heritage, family moments, and connections to food. Jocelyn creates work around her culture representing what that means in different subject matters through paint and print in both physical and spherical representations of family and the connections that have formed around it. Depicting moments and stories from her family she explores her relationship with family members both past and present. Growing up Chinese Canadian she has been influenced by both Chinese and Western culture, creating a unique relationship to people and places throughout her life.
