Film Synopsis

A newly engaged woman struggles with a question that terrifies her, what if love isn’t enough? Seeking answers, she time-travels back to Christmas Eve in her childhood home to speak with her late mother. What begins as a warm holiday reunion turns into a raw conversation about love, fear, and trust. Torn between memories of her mother’s unhappy marriage and her own hopes for the future, she must decide whether she can believe in her partner, and in herself.

Artist Statement

My favourite aspect of filmmaking is that whenever I think about a certain theme or a plot that I would love to watch a film about, I get to think, well…I’ll just make it myself. In my work, I revel in exploring emotion-driven stories through odd spaces and scenarios.  I am passionate about portraying the female perspective, and especially showcasing complex relationships between women— and my graduate film In Time is the culmination of all of those aspects of my storytelling.
