Film Synopsis:
When armed intruders take over a building, an ordinary art major finds himself trapped in a time loop
that resets every time he dies. Forced to relive the same attack again and again, he must use each failure
to outsmart the intruders and save everyone before time runs out.

Artist Statement

I am drawn to high-concept, genre-driven storytelling that prioritizes momentum, tension, and audience
engagement. With The Loop Takeover, I wanted to explore how repetition can transform an ordinary
person into a capable protagonist. The time-loop structure allowed me to experiment with pacing,
escalation, and dark humor, turning failure into progression. Rather than focusing on message-driven
storytelling, I was interested in creating an entertaining, self-aware action piece that plays with familiar
genre conventions. Through this film, I aimed to balance intensity with humor while exploring persistence
as a form of growth.
