A lasting moment of home, where comfort lingers.

Starting from a simple observation of how we move through space today, especially in fast-paced environments where everything feels constant and continuous, and there is very little moment to slow down or pause.

Intermission, is a resting space designed for people living in a busy modern society. It is furniture that allows people to feel the comfort of home, even when they are not at home.

I aim to blend spaces as one, not just in how they look, but in how they move with life. I design for pace, for pause, and for the quiet rituals that make time feel like your own.

Designed for a resting space, this piece encourages people to disconnect from their phones and reconnect with one another.

As rest has become increasingly tied to screens and devices, the work creates a small moment of pause centered around interaction and presence.

Inspired by childhood memories of playing Go, the game is integrated directly into the table as part of the furniture itself.

Inspired by the movement of childhood roller slides, this seating design explores how dowels can create a dynamic and interactive experience.

Connected with bungee cords and anchored with nails, the dowels form a flexible system that continuously moves and adapts with the body.

The idea behind the rotating table was that some people prefer having their own space when they rest, while others enjoy sharing space and spending time together. So the table allows users to either come together or separate, depending on their needs.
