Marcie’s First Slice of Life is developed by two students, Valerie Leung (ILUS) and Caitlyn Loy. (2DAN) This page is dedicated to showcase the comic, which debuts with four chapters (52 pages), done with ink on manga paper.
Marcie is the newest (and only) employee at Joey’s Perfect Pizza. Prone to being anxious and inexperienced, she struggles to get the hang of working with her perfectionistic boss, Joey.
Unlike any regular pizzeria, Joey’s Perfect Pizza prides itself with a mysteriously high-tech window that opens portals to different worlds. Everyday the two deal with all kinds of customers and their unique pizza preferences. You might say, it’s an intergalactic pizzeria.

As mentioned above, the story of Marcie is developed by two writers. While I’m responsible in creating the comic, my good partner in crime, Caitlyn Loy, will be producing the film version!
