The Art of Kaya
Introduction
The Art of Kaya is a concept art book of a pretend movie, inspired by Colombian culture and mythologies. The idea came to be as I, like many other artists, enjoy "The Art of..." concept art books that big animation companies release when a movie comes out.
It's a concept art book inspired by many warning mythologies told to Latin American children as they grow up; however, I wanted these mythologies to be looked at from a different perspective in Kaya's story while still sharing my culture.
This concept book has a lot of world-building, research, and imagination to create it as if it were a movie already released. It is a book to share my love of my culture and arts.
Thank you for viewing my work.

The 26-page concept art book, along with free postcards and business cards, is on display on campus in front of the RBC Media Gallery.
