Artists Statement

Whispers from the Spring examines how systems of power shape identity, memory, and emotional growth. The film explores the tension between conformity and inner freedom through a speculative narrative of human vulnerability and resilience. By contrasting dystopian control with fragile spaces of care and renewal, the work reflects on autonomy, resistance, and the persistence of hope. Ultimately, the film seeks to resonate with those navigating expectations and selfhood, inviting reflection on how memory and compassion can sustain the possibility of rebirth.
