A poetic memoir about a young person’s first encounter with death.

Artists Statement
As a filmmaker who has found her creative gifts through understanding and overcoming my learning disabilities, I am passionate about exploring innovative ways in 3D animation to express deep emotions and to take audiences into different ways of perceiving the world. In my artistic practice I am also working to bring my love for oil painting into the technological world of 3-D animation, creating rich worlds and vivid imagery. In this graduation film, Lucy My Love, I explore the interior world of grief and loss through a deeply personal story set against a vast prairie landscape
